The First Bowl of Noodles for My Baby
A representative Korean baby food producer, Ildong Foodis, released a new rice noodle product for babies. This product is Agimeal-Ssalguksu (rice noodle in Korean) and it comes in two flavors: beef and anchovy. With Agimeal-Ssalguksu, all a mother needs to do to prepare a meal for her baby is to pour hot water and wait for five minutes.
Carefully Selected Ingredients…Ready in Five Minutes
One of the biggest strengths of the new product is that the noodles are soft and have a plain taste. It means even babies as young as nine months old can eat them. Many consumers also praise the product for the ingredients carefully selected with a baby’s development in mind. The noodles are made with just two ingredients: Korean rice (99.5 percent) and solar salt. For the broth, a freeze-dried block cooked with environmentally friendly agricultural products is used instead of the conventional soup powder, which usually contains a lot of artificial additives. The broth block for the beef flavor Agimeal-Ssalguksu, for example, is made with antibiotic-free beef, tofu, and other healthy ingredients. The components of the broth block for the anchovy rice noodles include anchovy, kelp, dried sea mustard, tofu, and organic Korean vegetables such as carrots and onions. What’s more, the product is packaged in containers that pass safety inspection for endocrine-disrupting chemicals, so mothers can give this product to babies with their minds at ease.
