Using Pineapple Juice Instead of Sugar to Obtain a Natural Sweet Taste
Generally, vinegar beverages are made with grains―such as brown rice―through fermentation. The base of Hongcho Vital Plus, however, is three types of fruits and vegetables―apple, lemon, and carrot―that are put through fermentation. Out of considerations for the health of consumers, the producer does not add any sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Instead, the beverage contains natural pineapple juice and oligosaccharide, which make it taste sweet. The vinegar beverage also has vitamin B compounds (B3, B5, B6, and B12), which are effective in overcoming fatigue and helping speed up the metabolism. Hongcho Vital Plus comes in four flavors: orange tropical, blueberry blossom, pomegranate, and rubus coreanus (Korean raspberry).
